GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL OF OUR LOUNGE FURNITURE

The Whiting and Hancock Series are constructed with solid northern red oak or rock maple frames. All joints are glued and doweled under pressure with ½" hardwood dowels. The fully upholstered Weybridge, Shoreham, Sudbury and Goshen Series have interior construction of ½" and ¾" plywood and 2" thick hardwood framing with glued and screwed construction. All interior corners for the eight series are reinforced with metal corner brackets or with 1" thick corner blocks, glued and screwed in place.
The reversible back and seat cushions have removable jackets, secured with Velcro ^® , for replacing or cleaning. These reversible upholstered units are made of 2" thick high resiliency foam, resting on steel No-Sag springs which are attached to 1 ¾" thick solid hardwood frames with dowel construction.
The reversible seat and back cushion frames slide on special steel brackets located along the sides and back of the lounge unit. These back and seat cushions are locked in place with a simple allen wrench mechanism.
All upholstery fabrics and foam used in our cushions are made to your specific requirements. All lounge pieces have a water base sealer and top coat finish for high durability.

Whiting Series

The Whiting Series is our most popular Sleigh Base line which now features optional reversible seats and backs. The ends are made of 1 ¼” solid northern red oak or rock maple, and the back panel is 1” solid oak or maple. All interior corners have hardwood corner blocks for added stability. The seat and back cushions are not only reversible, but the fabric jackets can easily be replaced as well.

Shoreham Series

The Shoreham Series, with it’s straight lines, fully upholstered arms and reversible seats and backs, has a distinct classic line of simplicity. This durable line of furniture has a solid interior frame that will ensure a lifetime of service. Even the seat frames are solid 2” hardwood with steel No-Sag springs covered with 2” of high density foam for maximum support, comfort and strength. The fabric jackets on the seat cushions and back cushions are secured with Velcro to allow easy removal for cleaning or replacement.

Hancock Series

Hancock Modified_400.jpg The Hancock Series offers a softer, more sophisticated look for lounge areas. The seats and back cushions are removable so they can easily be reversed. The arms are made of 2 ¼” solid northern red oak or rock maple, and the upholstered side panels are removable for cleaning or replacement. We have secured the fabric jackets to the seat and back frames with Velcro to allow easy replacement.

Weybridge Series

Our Weybridge Series features a comfortable, fully upholstered design with soft lines and rounded arms for quality lounge areas. We have included features in this rugged design to extend the life of the furniture and allow for easy maintenance. The seat and back cushions are easily removed and can be reversed. The fabric seat and back jackets are secured with Velcro^® and can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Our durable interior construction is detailed in our General Specifications.
